Misinformation? AI-fabricated content? In the world full of news, comments, stories, reels…, how can we be sure that we know what is real and what is not?
Join our Fabricating Realities workshop and learn how to debunk fake content. The workshop is an opportunity for you to experiment with using AI to generate (fake) content, learn about the tactics used to make the fake look real and how to spot the glitches that can sell the fake content out. You will be guided by Laurens Vreekamp, journalist, writer, design thinker and very experienced trainer in the field of AI in journalism and design.
Fabricating Realities is part of the European CERV (Citizens, Equality, Rights and Value) project, fAIr Media. The project led by Fundación Zaragoza Ciudad del Conocimiento, in collaboration with Sineglossa, Ars Electronica and Baltan Laboratories. The project is co-funded by the European Union within the CERV (Citizens, Equality, Rights and Value) programme.
